The Briogeo Hair Product "Serving" Size Guide

Pop quiz time! Do you really know how much product you should be using? While the portion size of hair products can vary for different reasons (thickness, length, porosity, etc.), we thought we'd put together a basic reference guide to make sure you're making the most out of your hair products.

Shampoo: Cherry Tomato-Walnut Amount Size

One should generally use a walnut size amount of shampoo. If your hair is on the finer side, a cherry tomato size amount should be enough to clean those locks. If it's thicker and more coarse, a walnut amount size should be enough to thoroughly clean your mane

Conditioner: Golf Ball Amount Size

Conditioners can, unfortunately, vary from person to person. While we generally recommend using a golf ball size amount of conditioner, if you have thinner/finer hair, we suggest using less so it doesn't weigh the hair down.

Hair Mask: Clementine Amount Size

When using a hair mask, you want to use as much as about the size of a clementine. Hair masks are designed to be a once-in-a-while treatment to really do some reparative work, so don't be afraid of using a hefty amount. After shampooing, massage a clementine-sized scoop of the hair mask into the hair, ensuring that it's evenly applied. Leave in for 5-10 minutes before rinsing!

Blow-Dry Creme: Grape Amount Size

For a blow-dry creme, you want to use a grape size amount. Simply apply one grape-sized amount of the crème to freshly washed, damp hair, evenly from root to tip. Then blow-dry and style as desired!

 Hair Oil: Pea Amount Size

Less is more with hair oils. We suggest applying 1-2 pea-size drops, depending on hair length and thickness, and rub hands together so the treatment is evenly distributed. Gently rub palms through hair, focusing on the mid-length to ends.
